Last Scrappers 8 Layout (for June)

Happy Monday everyone. What a BLAH Monday it is here. Gloomy weather and grey out. No park ventures for us today. Do you think I can get some house work done with a 3 year old and a 6 month old??? I'm dreaming right?? Speaking of 6 month old......the scrapbook layout above is obviously our maternity photos and WHAT THE.....???? My baby is 6 months TOMORROW!!! My mat leave is half over. Where did that go???? Berlynn is becomming such a little person. Her faces and personality are really coming out. She's very laid back. She's been such a great baby!! We are so very lucky. To think in these pictures we had no clue what we were having and if you had asked me back then I would have said BOY!! OOPS, wrong again. Another girl!!
Anyhow, I hope you enjoy (keep in mind I still need to add a title to it).
Sorry for the poor quality picture taking. I'm no photographer.

Bye for now!!

WATERMELON-Scrappers 8

TGIF!!!
Happy Friday and what a happy day it is!! It's the beginning of a busy weekend for us.
I had my first scrappers 8 get together on Wednesday and I have to say I think it went great! Everyone LOVED their Simply Scrappin' Kit. They were all so impressed with what you get in the kit. I'm telling you there are LOADS of stuff in it. You can't beat it for $30.00.

The above is another layout I did this time using my brand spankin' new Coluzzle Cutting System. I'll admit it took a bit of getting used to but I did get the hang of it and let me tell you, it's my new best friend. LOVING IT!! I still need to add a title to the page but other than that a simple yet fun layout!! The kit I used is Special Delivery Girl.

Well that's it today for me. Have a fantastic weekend!!

Another Scrappers 8 Layout

Hey all and happy hump day.
So tonight is my very first scrappers 8 night and I must say I'm a bit giddy about it. I hope they like the Simply Scrappin Kits (what's not to like) and I hope they like the layouts I have created. This one has no title....I will add it on later (as most will have no title because we aren't scrappin' the same stuff, know what I mean?). SO, for me this title will be something like "Your Many Faces," something along those lines anyway. I need to get some more letters in my supplies.

Again this layout is using the Special Delivery Girl kit.
Hope you enjoy.

Can't decide THANK YOUS

HAPPY SUNDAY!!! Looks like the sun is going to shine today! I think it's a zoo day for our family.

So if you've been visiting my blog on a regular basis you would have read at some point that my daughter turned 3. I'll say it again....."where does time go???"
Anyhow, these are some Thank You cards I made and if you notice....they are all slighty different. I just couldn't decide how I wanted them made. So I knew I had to make 17 of them but after 5 I called it quits. They are 3.5X3.5 and I had no idea you can't mail this size. Did you know that?? I had no clue. SO that being said....I think I'll be making more thank you cards in the near future.
Thanks for stopping by today.

RECIPE:

FALL FUN!

Hey all!!

This is another scrapbook layout I did in Heather's scrap class. Again we did it quite some time ago. I had the perfect apple picking pictures to go on it. That day was soooo fun. Just Chloe and I apple picking for the first time. She wasn't sure about it but we had a great time together in the end. Sorry it's a bit fuzzy.

I hope you like it!! Enjoy.

Let It Snow!

I know, I know! It's June and I'm posting a "Let It Snow" scrapbook layout. What can I say except it's been soooo hot the last couple of days that I can't even believe that we get such cold weather in the winter time.
This was a lyout I did in Heather's Scrappers 6 class waaaaaaaaaaaaay back when. This was the first time my daughter Chloe built a snowman (with daddy and Cyprus, our dog). She looked out the window for days and days at it!! So CUTE!!

I'd love to give you the recipe but I can't remember the colours. I'm so bad for that. OK then...let me try....

RECIPE:
COLOURS: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Whisper White and I think Brocade Blue.
STAMP SETS: Little Snowflakes and that Christmas one....you know which one.
OTHER: Snowflake punch and Rhinestone brads.

Thanks for looking today and take care!!

Celebrate Your Day!!

Hey everyone!

So yesterday Chloe was invited to a birthday party for a little friend of hers who turned 4. I had no card and I refuse to buy one (anymore)so I literally whipped this one up in about 10min (if that!!). Not a hard card by any means but I think it turned out ok.

RECIPE:
PAPER: Bashful Blue, Chocolate Chip and Blue Bayou DS paper.

I simple punched the 5 stars with my star punch. The Bashful Blue star I sponged with Chocolate Chip around the edges. That's it!!

STAMPS: Celebrate Everything.

Stampers 10 Cards

WELL, thank you to all who came out to my very first Stampers 10 night!! I think it was a huge success and as usual I had a great time. Hope you guys did too.
So most of the ladies in my club have NEVER STAMPED before. I know....can you even imagine?? What the.....????? SO, we made the above cards as our make and takes. I kept it pretty simple (I didn't want to scare them...shhhhh :) )
So the card with the stars on it fell in some white ink (OOPS) so that wasn't intentional HOWEVER I think it would have been nice to shade the navy star in white ink afterall!!! LOL!!
I hope you enjoy and I look forward to meeting with these gals every month. Some good laughs I tell ya.

Take care and thanks for lookin'.

Hope you like it.
Have a great day all.

RECIPE:
Paper: Pumpkin Pie, Rose Red, Vanilla, Chocolate Chip
Other: Brads, Choc Chip ribbon
Stamp Set: Pun Fun, can't remember the set with the dot....sorry.

Chocolate Ice Cream!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my dear Chloe!!! Today she is 3 and I can hardly even believe it! Where does time go? I remember the day I found out I was pregnant with her. Oct 2nd 2004!! To be exact! OK, enough running down memory lane. I thought I'd post a layout of her (of course) to commemorate her special day.

These pictures were taken of her eating....well....chocolate ice cream at Nana's. Her favourite dessert is ice cream so I thought I'd scrap it. What a mess she was. Too cute!! Hope you enjoy.

Have to go and get ready for the big party tomorrow. Kids, kids and more kids will be here. Can't wait for Chloe to enjoy her special day with her friends.

Thanks for looking!!!

RECIPE:
Colours: Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, So Saffron Designer Series Paper (LOVE!!), Memory Keepers Paper,
OTHER: On Board Simon Lower (I just traced them and cut them out), Brads, Ribbon is scrap that I had lying around so no clue where it's from.
STAMPS: Doodle Alphabet (retired....too bad).
