HAPPY HALLOWEEN (although it feels like Christmas!!)

Hey all,
Sorry it's been a while. I have started taking a kickboxing class and it's in the evenings so it's really taken over my stamping time. I've decided it's much needed for me. It's like therapy to smack the poop out of those bags. Just love it!!

So here is a Halloween card I made with the Ghostly Greetings paper (LOVING IT!!) It's hard to believe that Halloween is tomorrow considering the amount of snow we have! I am itching to get my tree up!! I am a Christmas nut so once Halloween is done the tree will go up. OK I will wait til mid November then!

Happy Birthday to my hubby Paul (tomorrow). We will head on out for dinner to celebrate on Saturday night. YUM!

Take care all and enjoy trick or treating!!

I am really into making Christmas cards lately as it seems a lot of people are. This was one of the cards we made at my Christmas card class last week. So super easy and so festive. Not sure if you can see in the picture but the snowflakes are covered in Dazzling Diamonds! That is a must for any Christmas card!! Don't you think?

Well I hope you are enjoying this lovely fall weather. Take care and thanks for popping by.

Inspired By Nature

Hello and good day everyone.

This is a short post today as my 3 year old daughter is sick with the flu and I feel bad being on the computer. Poor thing....I hate when they are ill. Breaks your heart doesn't it? I wish I could take over the sickness for her.

SO, I am LOVING this stamp set but holy smokes it's a task to use if you don't have markers. I really want them BUT just don't have them as of yet. SO I ended up using my blender pen for the stem and QUICKLY (KEY WORD HERE) inked up the flowers, closed my eyes, hoped for the best and stamped the image. Looks not so bad hey? I made this card for my aunt for her b-day. As usual it will be late (story of my life) but she will eventually get it!! HA HA.

Anyhow, I better run and get the Vicks out. Gotta love that vapo rub!!!
Enjoy your day!!

3D PUMPKIN

HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE!!

WHOA!!!! I love love love TURKEY DINNER. It is simply the best ever. My favourite meal by far. I ate and ate and ate this weekend and I loved every minute of it!! Tomorrow though I am back on track. No more junk!! Ha Ha.

So Wednesday night will be my stampers night and this cute litte pumpkin is one of the projects we will be making. SO CUTE hey? I got it off Dawn's blog (Dawn's Stamping Thoughts). She is in my blog roll to the right so be sure to click on her site and check her out. She's awesome. Anyhow, saw this little pumpkin and just HAD to make one. I changed it up a bit by actually stamping leaves and then cutting them out. So easy to make and I think they would look so cute as decorations around the house. Don't you think they would look cute as a Christmas ornament too???? Using Christmas colours of course! I think I may just tackle that!

Anyhow, hope you like it. Thanks for stopping by today!!
Take care.
Paula :)

RECIPE:
PAPER: Tangerine Tango (8 strips cut into 1 X 5.5 strips), Old Olive (cut into thin thin strips then wrapped around a pencil to get it to curl).
INK: Old Olive
STAMPS: Autumn Harvest (the leaves)
Used my cropodile to make the holes on the top and bottom. Then I used brads to fasten the strips together. SUPER EASY PROJECT!!

Christmas Box

Hi all and happy Wednesday!!

Tonight is my Christmas card class and I'm soooo excited. I am already in the mood for Christmas. The decorations, the gift giving, family, friends.....CARDS CARDS CARDS!!! I decided to make this little box to hold some Christmas cards that I may give as a hostess gift over the holiday season. Cute box hey? I got it off of U Stamp by Heather and Dawn. Cute box that will hold about 5 cards nicely.

I hope you like it and I'll be back soon.
Have a wonderful day!!!

First Haircut

Hi all!!

Well my daughter Chloe just went for her second haircut yesterday and oddly enough I just scrapped her first one which was just about a year ago!! I thought it was time to get rid of some split ends. One of my best friends owns a salon here in town so she takes great care of us. Chloe loves her so it's exciting to go "see Tania!" Check out the salon HERE. They opened the day Chloe was born too which is also a fun bit of info!! That is Tania in the scrapbook pages, workin' hard!!! LOL!

Enjoy your day all.

Girls can wear BLUE too!!

Hey all,

Sorry it's been a while. I am finding it hard to stamp when I have an upcoming class to cut for. It's my Christmas card class and I am so excited for it. LOADS of ribbon and glitter. My house is going to be covered in it I KNOW!! LOL!!

This scrapbook layout was one that I did in my Scrappers class a few months ago. It uses a Simply Scrappin' Kit from SU's older catalogue. I forget the name.....sorry :(
I have yet to add my title "Girls Can Wear Blue Too" to it. I will get around to it one day I swear!!

I would like to just mention that I finally purchased a scrapbook from Stampin' Up and let me tell you IT'S BEAUTIFUL. I got the 12 x 12 ring binder one and it's awesome. The sheet protectors are nice and sturdy and are slightly bigger than 12 x 12 so your work is COMPLETELY covered. LOVE THAT! Plus someone gave me great advice to order the ring binder rather than the post one because I don't do my scrapbook pages in order therefore it's easier to add it to my book. Know what I mean. I thought that was a great tip.

Well enjoy your weekend. We are closing the pool today. Summer is officially over. I do love fall and am always excited for Christmas to come.

Take care.
