Summery Colours!

Hey all!!
It's hump day!
Thanks for stopping in today. So, this card for me was "out of my comfort zone!!" WHY? You ask? Because of the colours. I have a hard time making ANYTHING without brown in it and I'm such a "neutral" kinda gal. This is BRIGHT and COLOURFUL! I wanted sooo bad to throw a little Chocolate Chip in this mix but didn't allow it. I love to ruffle ribbon these days. It's a great look that's super easy to do. All I do is lay a piece of sticky strip down across my card and gather the ribbon any old way. There's no rhyme or reason to it. The less perfect it is the better! Give it a try!

Thanks again for checkin' me out.
Have a great remainder of your week.

Pumpkin Patch!

Hello all!

Well it's the start of another new week. Where does time go? Soon the kids will be back to school. Summer seems to fly by. I only just did this layout from the pumpkin patch last year and before we know it we will be picking our pumpkins for this year!! I ADORE the retired Stampin' Up! Halloween paper....Ghostly Greetings (I think it was called that). So fun to use. I have yet to make a title (always seems to take me for ever!) but you get the jist right? LOL.

Thanks for having a look today :)
Enjoy your week.

It's a GIRL!!

IT'S FRIDAY!!! Thank GOODNESS!!!
So I hope you've all had a better week than I have. My 5 year old, Chloe has been sick ALLLLLL week! Puffy eyes, clogged up nose, fever on and off. POOR THING. She is such a trooper I tell ya. So we've been juggling our work schedules to be with her. I hope we are seeing the end of this!

So my next door neighbours just had a baby girl. I LOVE LOVE LOVE making baby cards! This card was inspired by my up line Heather. I got the idea from her creation at our most recent swap night. Sorry no picture :( This is my take on her card. I changed up the colours (hers was So Saffron and Chocolate Chip--great if you don't know what gender the baby to be is!!) and added the saying to reflect the gender of the new baby----obviously they had a girl!! LOL!

I hope you like my card. I can't wait for more friends to have babies so I can make more new baby cards!!!

RECIPE:
Pink Pirouette Paper
Kraft Paper
Nursery Necessities stamp set
Fox and Friends stamp set
Pretty and Pink satin ribbon

Thanks so much for visiting me today.
Have a great weekend.

Back in the scrappin' groove!!!

Good day all and HAPPY MONDAY!! (is there such a thing ??? LOL)

I have finally started scrapbooking again and my club starts up this week! (YAHOO!)
I'm soooo excited to have some fresh faces in my club. Some have NEVER scrapbooked before and that makes me soooo excited!! Others have been in my club since day 1 and I thank them for that!! We always have a great time when we are together. A LOT of laughs for sure!!

This is a layout I did a while ago and realized I haden't posted! This was last year with my girls apple picking (obviously!). We LOVE to go apple picking! So much fun every year and loads of apple treats to be made when we return. My hubby and I even made apple pie and if you know us, that's HUGE!

The paper used here is from SU's retired paper Bella Rose (love it STILL) and Real Red card stock. I also used my Cricut for the title, apple and apple tree. Cute hey?
I hope you guys like it!!!
Thanks as always for visiting :)
Much appreciated and enjoy your week.

Happy birthday card for a MAN!

Hey there everyone!!

So making cards for men isn't fun! There I said it! LOL!! In all seriousness I can't bring myself to ever buy a card again so I make ALL my cards! Rightly so since I have all the stuff to make them! I had a couple of men I needed to make cards for so I made 2 of these. It uses Kraft paper and some old SU DSP paper. I think it's pretty manly don't you? Nothing frilly about it right?
I hope the "guys" like them too.
Take care and thanks so much for checking in with me today :)
Enjoy your week.
