Friend to Friend

Hey everyone,
Thanks for checkin' in today!!
This card was cased from Jodi Collins blog. I loved her card so much that I made one of my own only I totally used different colours and changed it up a bit. I have posted her version too! Obviously it's the green and blue one. I love it!!
I made 2 of these cards for 2 of my friends that have just moved into new homes. Both homes are BEAUTIFUL just like both of my friends. I have been friends with them for YEARS! So wonderful to have them living right near by.
My version of the card uses a couple of retired items...River Rock paper (love and miss)and Parisian Summer DSP. Can I confess that I have NEVER used Bravo Burgundy before AT ALL!!! I only had 1 sheet of card stock for this card and a while ago I participated in a ribbon share that my upline Heather had so I had some Bravo Burgundy ribbon. I actually didn't think I liked that colour but I have changed my mind on that. I suppose I will buy an entire pack of paper now. I even used an ink spot for my ink....I don't even have the BIG ink pad in BB. TOO FUNNY!!
Anyhow, now I'm just rambling. I hope you like my version of Jodi's creation.

Take care.

Valentine with friends!

Hey all. Happy Monday (if there is such a thing!!) HA HA. I remember being on mat leave and I'd never know what day it was. Those were the days!

OK so a friend of mine asked me to help her make a Valentine's day card for her new boyfriend (which by the way I set up!!! and it's going so well so far!!) SO we had a girls night on Friday night and I thought why don't we ALL make a Valentine's day card for our special someone??!! I had EVERYTHING cut for them, I brought punches, stamps and ink and we all stamped this card. It's simple which was needed because a few of my friends have never stamped before. I know, GASP!!!!! They we sooooo surprised and just LOVED it. Kinda made me feel good. I always say I am so lucky to have my girlfriends. What would I do without them??? LOVE YOU GUYS!!!

Now every other Valentine card I have made my hubby has somehow seen. This one he has not so this will be the one I give him. (He better not be looking at my blog today- HA HA)

Enjoy your Monday and I'll be back this week.
Take care.

Stinky Valentine

Hey all and happy Sunday!!!

I hope you are enjoying your weekend. I have been with loads of my friends this weekend visiting and let me tell you I love my girls!!! We always have such a great time!
As we gear up for Valentine's day I decided to finally make a pink and red (with brown of course ) card. I also put my Nesties to work BIG TIME!! I haven't used my Pun Fun stamp set in a while so I also put that to work. It's hard to see in the picture (SORRY!) but I used my Crystal Effects on the flower for some texture. The heart you see on the card is from my very first Stampin' Up stamp set EVER!! I have no clue what the set was called (Sorry again). That was about 5 years ago. Who knew I'd end up being a demo!! I'm just addicted that's all.

Anyhow hope you like this one and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Take care.

Flip books for twins!!

Hey all and Happy Friday,

Well if you have been following along with by blog you will know that I made a flip book for a friend who just had a baby. Well I have another friend that's expecting TWINS. They decided to have a 3rd child and now they are expecting twins in April. 4 kids under the age of 5. Can you say STRESS??? I am delighted for them but man they will have their hands full. We had a baby shower for her and we were supposed to just bring her diapers. I added these 2 flip books as a little additional gift. She LOVED them. They are just so easy to make, how could I have not given them to her? Hope you like them. BTW I didn't include the boys inside pictures as it was pretty much the same as a few posts ago. Scroll down to see inside of that one.
These books us the Manchester and Bella Rose DSP.

Take care and have a fantastic Friday!!
Paula :)
