Perfect Princess (take two)
Happy Saturday!
First off I can't believe tomorrow is June 1st ALREADY!! My baby turns 3 tomorrow and we are having a b-day bash for her. She is sooooooo excited it's crazy. She's at that age where she really knows what a birthday is so we figured let's have some fun with it and invite her little friends over to celebrate. Cross your fingers the weather cooperates.
I made this card for my little cousin who turned 6 this month. I may just give the other one to Chloe tomorrow. Such a cute girlie girl card. A few posts ago I made a mini criss cross card that looks a lot like it. I like the combo of colours and DS paper. Hope you like it too.
RECIPE:
Colours: Purely Pomegranate, Chocolate Chip,
Other: Scallop Circle Punch,Dazz Diamonds, Rhinstone Brad, Chocolate Chip Ribbon,
Stamp Set: Perfect Princess (on one I also used that swirl from Priceless).
I embossed the word Princess (and the swirl)using white embossing powder.
Thanks for checkin' in today and enjoy your weekend!!

Happy Birthday!!
Good day all!!
Well this is short and sweet. I made a birthday card for my mother-in-law who just turned 60 this year. She loved it...she's so sweet. When I make cards I usually make 2 just to have an extra on hand. Here are 2 birthday cards I made...slightly different. Hope you like them.
RECIPE:
Colours: Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip, Certainly Celery, Old Olive.

Hello all!!
So as I chat with more and more of the people around me I am realizing that people are soooo interested in scrapbooking but just don't know where to start. If you are this person than this club it exactly what you are looking for!!! It can NOT get any easier than this. Here's what my club entails:
-6 months duration (starting in June)
-$30.00 per month
-2 layouts per month (so 4 12X12 Scrapbook pages a month, AT LEAST!)
-Free Stampin' Up catalogue
-You take home the remainder of the Scrappin' Kit (so you have leftovers to make cards or even other scrapbook pages)
I will create 2 layouts per month, you pick the Scrappin' Kit you want to use, you copy the layout and voila......done!! You then take your layouts home and add your photos. By the end of 6 months you will have a 24 page scrapbook completed PLUS you will have the remainder of the Scrappin' Kits to create more pages OR other projects (because you will be a pro by then!!)
The Scrappin' Kits are beautiful....TRUST ME. If you have a moment, take a look at www.stampinup.com and view pages 172-175!!STUNNING!
Please email me your interest by no later than May 28th as this club will begin in June. I only have 6 spots for this club.
Thanks so much and please let me know if you have any questions.
Take care.
Paula

Backyardigans!!
So as it turns out I do have time for another post today. My youngest, Berlynn is having a great LONG nap and my mom came and snagged my older daughter and took her off to school where my mom helps out. So it's quiet right now in my home and I'm enjoying it!! Can't complain.
So back in February, my hubby Paul took Chloe to see the Backyardigans. Now these beautiful little creatures are just what Chloe LOVES!! She adores these little guys. This was her very first LIVE SHOW ever so I thought I better scrap it! Heather created the one page layout (left) in her Scrappers 6 class that I am in and then I just created the other (right) so it would then make a double page layout (click on picture to enlarge).I just love the colours together, so bold and bright. Heather gets the credit for that one. I am a bit picky because I like the paper to match the clothes etc of what I am scrapping. SO, in this case the colours of the paper match the colours of the little Backyardigan people. Is that anal? Oh well, I love it that way!! You will notice that a lot with my scrapbooking. Can't help it :)
RECIPE:
Colours: Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Tempting Turquoise, Real Red
Other: Old Olive DS paper, Pumpkin Pie DS paper, Large and small star punch, Cuddlebug Alphabet

Berlynn Frame
Happy Thursday everyone!!!
So it's Chloe's b-day on June 1st and Paul and I got her a swing set / play set for the backyard. Today the boys are putting it up. I am soooooo excited to see her face when it's ready to go! Maybe if I get around to it I will post some pics!
AMERICAN IDOL----Can we talk about that?? I'm so happy that David Cook won. I mean I loved both Davids BUT DC to me seems like he'd be better suited for the American Idol role. So exciting! This was the first American Idol I watched from beginning to end. I have to say I think I am hooked!!
OK, enough chit chat. I made this little frame for Berlynn when she was born back in January. Seems like a lifetime ago!! It just says "Welcome Baby Berlynn" in a picture frame that sits on her night stand. It was super easy and it matches her nursery perfectly---PINK & BROWN, what else!! :) It's hard to see but behind Berlynn's name I stamped a couple of the swirls from the Priceless set in Pretty In Pink. Sorry it's so hard to see. Hope you like it.
RECIPE:
Colours: Pretty in Pink, Choc Chip, Purely Pomegranate (I'll be sad when this colour goes), Berry Bliss DS paper.
Other: I used my Cuddlebug for the letters (I know...not Stampin' up.....forgive me), Round Tab Punch, PP ribbon, antique brad.
Stamp Set: Priceless (one of my favourites!!), Short & Sweet

Hi all!!!
Happy Tuesday and back to reality from a long weekend. Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
So my up line Heather Summers has a scrapbook club that I am in. The pages above are a layout we did some time ago. I did have to tweak it a bit to accommodate my photos of Chloe so in the end it turned out different than intended. Oh well, I think it still works....no?
This was a lazy pajama day that we had. Chloe is sportin' her new jammies that she got for Christmas.
RECIPE:
Paper:certainly celery, purely pomegranate, old olive, tempting turquoise, SU DS paper Flowers for You

It's a Boy!!
Well yet again another baby card. I LOVE making baby cards probably because I am in baby mode. I just like having them on hand ready made for when the next bundle of joy arrives.
Now I made this a while ago so completely forget the name of the stamp set but I do know that it is retired. BUMMER. I do love this set still.
PAPER: So Saffron, and I forget what blue it was.....I really should write this stuff down.
I also used my Cuddlebug to emboss the background.
Happy holiday Monday. Too bad it wasn't warmer today.
Enjoy your day and thanks for popping by!

It's a Girl!!
Hi all. Happy long weekend!! This weekend is clean up our garden weekend.....seems like every weekend entails gardening. It's our year to get it together!
On to my card......Since I am smack dab in baby making age, everyone around me has either just given birth or is pregnant. This will go on I suspect for the next few years. Anyhow, I made this girl card (and I made a few to have on hand) for when someone has a baby or I can even use them for a shower card.
RECIPE:
Paper: Basic black, Purely Pomegranate
Stamps: I'm Here
Thanks for looking today!!

Pumpkin Patch
Happy Monday to whom ever is looking at this. I love mat leave because it doesn't matter what day it is, it's always a day off work!! :)
So about the layout....this was obviously taken at the pumpkin patch in October of 07', I only got around to completing it now. It's weird because this was Thanksgiving weekend and it was soooooo mild! Usually we have snow at this point but not this time. Chloe is in her shorts and t-shirt. It was a beautiful weekend.
COLOURS: Pumpkin Pie (only fitting for the occasion), purely pomegranate, old olive.
STAMP SET: Priceless (AGAIN. Can you tell I love that set?)
Thanks for checkin'in today.
