BABY SHOWER FAVOURS!!

Hello all and HAPPY FRIDAY. Well not really for me. I am home sick with strep throat and man is it brutal. I feel like I have swollowed a bunch of knives. Horrible.
Ok, enough about me. I am hosting a baby shower on Sunday...YES, this Sunday. I'll be better by then I swear!! :) Of course I had to make the favours so this is what I came up with. I wanted something easy that I could recreate 25 times. This was my solution. I used the Top Note die and scored it in half. I used SU's Beautiful Butterfly die and SU's Riveting stamp set (now retired--Booooo) and voila! EASY EASY EASY!! A friend from work (HEY LINDA!!!!) gave me the bags. YUP, just like that. Her daughter was just married and had them left over so that was that. She dropped them off to my place (so nice because as you know I'm a little fragile at the moment) and so convenient. I hope you like them....I hope Jen does too.

Jen had baby Lauren about 6 weeks early. Mom and baby are great. We can't wait to celebrate on Sunday!!

I Stink You're Sweet!!

Hi all and HAPPY FRIDAY.
So where did the week go? I am just back from a fab trip in Jacksonville visiting my friend!! I went with 2 other girls (no kids) and man what a change. No diapers to change, no singing toddler tunes....it was quiet by the pool and I slept in!!! WONDERFUL! Now would I change my life for that.....NO WAY!!! Missed my kids (and hubby) to BITS so I am glad to be home and back into routine.

This little post is a 2-4-6-8 box that we made at my stampers 10 club. Super easy!! Found just by googeling "2,4,6,8 box." I can't remember whose I used but it was super easy to follow. Can't go wrong with this one. Hope you like it.

New Swing set!

Well, there it is. The new swingset is finally up and Chloe loves it. So much so that all she wants to do now is be outside on the swing. Great job daddy and friends, thanks for your help in putting it up!! Will be great for Chloe's b-day party this weekend.

Berlynn Frame

Happy Thursday everyone!!!

So it's Chloe's b-day on June 1st and Paul and I got her a swing set / play set for the backyard. Today the boys are putting it up. I am soooooo excited to see her face when it's ready to go! Maybe if I get around to it I will post some pics!
AMERICAN IDOL----Can we talk about that?? I'm so happy that David Cook won. I mean I loved both Davids BUT DC to me seems like he'd be better suited for the American Idol role. So exciting! This was the first American Idol I watched from beginning to end. I have to say I think I am hooked!!

OK, enough chit chat. I made this little frame for Berlynn when she was born back in January. Seems like a lifetime ago!! It just says "Welcome Baby Berlynn" in a picture frame that sits on her night stand. It was super easy and it matches her nursery perfectly---PINK & BROWN, what else!! :) It's hard to see but behind Berlynn's name I stamped a couple of the swirls from the Priceless set in Pretty In Pink. Sorry it's so hard to see. Hope you like it.

RECIPE:
Colours: Pretty in Pink, Choc Chip, Purely Pomegranate (I'll be sad when this colour goes), Berry Bliss DS paper.
Other: I used my Cuddlebug for the letters (I know...not Stampin' up.....forgive me), Round Tab Punch, PP ribbon, antique brad.
